RUPTLY ACADEMY
In 2020, the team I supervised came up with the visual identity, created the website, as well as filmed and edited all the tutorials and the promo videos for Ruptly Academy – an exclusive online school in practical journalism. The whole thing was produced in-house, so the school was not only free for its students, but also almost free for the company.

My role: creative direction, project management, visual identity development supervision, website design development supervision,
shootings supervision, post-production supervision.
OUR POSITION

Since its launch in 2013, Ruptly has become renowned as a training ground for new and young journalists. That's why we know that for Gen Z, working in journalism is an opportunity to tell the world what matters to them. And what matters to them matters to the future of all of us.
GLOBAL PROBLEM

Unfortunately, when the pandemic hit 2020, such opportunities closed to almost all media students and graduates.

EXCLUSIVE SOLUTION

That's why we created Ruptly Academy, a bespoke suite of web content intended to remotely replicate the training and advice that interns and junior reporters can expect to receive when they first join the newsroom. So the best of the best wouldn't miss the whole year and their chance to become voices of their generation.

Testimonials
Ruptly Academy received universal praise from those who took part and was so successful that the next course began immediately after with a new intake of aspiring journalists hoping to score their big break in this fast-moving, highly-competitive industry.
