Hi!
My name is Vadim, and I could have become an engineer, but back then in Russia, 'advertising' sounded more promising.
I studied at a humanitarian gymnasium, where I had to read Homer in the fifth grade, and graduated from a technical university, where I learned mechanical engineering.
Perhaps, due to this little inconsistency, I love good stories as much as simple, yet effective solutions.
This love helped me to secure a job at the creative department of an advertising agency, and to make my way up from an ordinary Russian town to Berlin.
Over this time, I have worked as a copywriter for the worldwide advertising agency
BBDO and the creative agency
Instinct (part of BBDO), I headed the creative group for the digital agency
Progression, and worked as a creative director at the international news agency
Ruptly.
I have completed a bunch of digital projects, TV commercials, online videos, banners, websites, and social media activities for international and local brands.
In addition to advertising, I have tried my hand at producing a short documentary, created a couple of editorial projects, and a full-fledged online school.
While having a copywriter background, I successfully led a team of designers, motions designers, and videos editors.
So, yes, if you need an engineer, I'm out.
But if you need a multidisciplinary creator and creative director, who can come up with an idea for an advertising or a content project, and then lead a creative team that will bring this idea to life, I'm your man.
